About the event
Wondering about all the plants in the lake? We're very fortunate to have Audrey Greene, Charlie Handel and Adam Handel back for the second annual presentation with the latest information about aquatic plants, good and bad, and what to look for on shore and on your boat. We’ll cover the latest developments and sightings of AIS (Aquatic Invasive Species) in a presentation followed by a ride on the DLSD barge. We’ll look at the plants in place then rake some up for closer identification.
Be the smartest person on your block – learn about the good and bad and why of aquatic plants! And… what to do if you see a suspicious plant!
There is a minimum of 7 people and maximum of 40. You MUST bring your own life jacket for the boat tour. Please RSVP!
Bring your questions – our experts will have answers. See you there!
