On Monday, July 8, Charlie Handel and Audrey Greene presented an informative Aquatic Invasive Species workshop at Waters Edge. They brought fresh samples to demonstrate along with a slide presentation of whether the plants were good or bad, and why we need aquatic plants.
The presentation was followed by a short lake tour on a Delavan Lake Sanitary District conveyer barge where Charlie and Adam Handel pointed out plants in the lake.
The participants were enthusiastic and will take their new knowledge - and several handouts - home with them to observe their own property.
Thank you everyone who participated!
