Is Winter Over?

This mild weather is giving us a sense of relief that we won't have more snow and icy sidewalks and driveways and plowing and shoveling... but technically we have winter until March 19th! Take some time to learn about how salt impacts the environment, especially our lake.

According to Wisconsin Salt Wise, It only takes 1 teaspoon of salt to pollute 5 gallons of water to a level that is toxic for freshwater ecosystems. We can all work together to use the right amount of salt!
